How has Covid-19 affected your work?
With the rise of Covid-19 there has never been a greater demand for the contact less payment industry. In this time company has seen immense growth, today Fidelity Payment announced that in-light of recent ventures the Company’s Board of Directors has promoted Karan Mehta to Sales Director, effective 8th July 2020.
How has your marketing and communications adapted during this time?
Internally we changed our focus towards expanding our reach and garnering new partnerships. We never focused current previously on external marketing so we made it our prerogative to make sure merchants were satisfied and had the right support necessary. We wanted to support as many new businesses with free promotional offers such as free website set up through EKM to support people transacting online and stopping the spread of the virus.
How will these changes affect your strategy going forward?
With the new promotion of Karan Mehta we will continue to grow our payment solutions portfolio through our array of payment technology, Karan will be directing the resources of the company to promote, educate and engage with our UK market, and break through the rest of the EU. In this new role Karan will be overseeing all internal sales teams, all external sales partners, the partnership relationship teams and be responsible for all client onboarding operations.
Do you have any advice to help others thrive during this time?
Keep everything online – people are very uncertain about the economy – we want to make sure that all companies are able to take payments from whatever source that is needed. Our development team worked extremely hard to launch Blink3sixty which gives customers a platform to accept payments from almost all forms of messaging software.
