2019 has been quite the year for us at Branswer and we just love this time of year, where we can look back and reflect on everything we’ve achieved over the past twelve months. We are proud of the year we’ve had, and we’re excited to be able to share it with you.
This year we celebrated the one-year anniversary of our ‘They Do Comms’ initiative. If you aren’t aware, this is where we invite marketing and communication professionals to share their own stories and inspire others with little nuggets of important information. To mark the anniversary, we’ve highlighted a few of our favourites, in what we believe is arguably the biggest awards ceremony of the year. Take a look at some of our highlights of the year and who knows, maybe you could feature on there come 2020?
During the year, we were immensely proud to be named in the Top 50 Tech Companies in Yorkshire and Humber, placing 21st. Our Founder and Managing Director, Kayla Herbert said: “I’m excited to see Branswer recognised for its innovative solution to content writing. We look forward to continuing to offer an accessible and affordable content writing platform that can be used by marketers and entrepreneurs around the world.” It’s always heart-warming to receive recognition for all the hard work that goes into Branswer, so as the year comes to an end, we’d like to extend our thanks!
As well as this, we have been named a semi-finalist for Rising Stars 2.0. This is the UK’s only true national startup competition, designed to help showcase and raise the profile of the best early-stage tech companies from across the country. We are delighted to be named amongst a talented field of startups. It is testament to the hard work that has been put in by everyone throughout the year and through our journey as a company.
We are also delighted to have graduated from the Natwest Entrepreneur Accelerator Programme this year. With the help of Natwest, we have been able to receive support and advice in assisting the growth of Branswer, all with the aim of constantly improving and providing a service to be proud of to our users.
It’s also been an exciting year for us in terms of new features we have rolled out to our platform and users. We launched our affiliate programme this year, which gives our users the chance to team up and earn with us through referring us to their family, friends or colleagues. If this is something that interests you, be sure to check out our affiliate blog to give you all the information you need.
Our content calendar tool is also beginning to take shape. This new feature on our platform is designed to help our users plan their content around the most popular awareness days in the UK. That way, they know how to join in on the conversations that are already taking place and increase their chances of driving more traffic to their own work.
This year we have also been able to offer seven internships to local university students. You may have seen some of the content they have produced in our blogs and newsletters. We are thrilled to be able to afford work experience to young, aspiring professionals and we hope to welcome more in the new year.
Finally, we would like to extend our thanks and immense gratitude to all those that have helped us get to where we are today, making 2019 a great year for Branswer. From friends and family, to event attendees and our users who we value highly, a massive thank you from all of us at the Branswer team!
