2018 has been a year of steady achievements for Branswer and we’re thrilled to be ending this year with a look back at just how far we’ve come.

In April 2018, we found our home within the NatWest office space in the heart of Leeds, having embarked on the NatWest Entrepreneur Accelerator program. Here we have made friends with a whole host of great entrepreneurs who’ve helped and supported us with our progress. We are continually inspired by all our fellow entrepreneurs around us and have learnt a great deal — Thank You!

Since May 2018, our team has expanded with a total of 8 interns joining us. Each intern has contributed great things to the development of our brand and we are thrilled to have had the opportunity of providing work experience to young professionals. We look forward to welcoming more interns into Branswer throughout the new year.

The past year has witnessed Branswer officially launch along with a variety of events we have hosted, such as our well received Leeds Lean Marketing Meet-up. During the course of 7 monthly events, over 150 marketing and communication professionals from across Yorkshire were welcomed and introduced to our very own Branding Canvas.

2018 has also seen Branswer be nominated for a plethora of awards including  Innovation in MadTech award by the UK Tech Founder Awards and for Innovation Entrepreneur of the Year by The Great British Entrepreneur Awards. We were also included in the Top 51 Tech for Good Stars by Business Cloud. We are truly thrilled and delighted by our nominations and all of our other appearances in the press.

Aside from celebrating our own success, throughout the year we’ve also celebrated other peoples success in the form of our ongoing campaign, They Do Comms, which shares the stories of Marketing and Communication professionals from around the world!

Alongside all of the above, Branswer has also been working with our friends at Ahead Partnership. Our founders Kayla and Tom visited schools in Leeds to speak about the tech industry and to encourage students to fully embrace and apply themselves to STEM subjects.
Oh, and did we mention, we’ve officially launched!

That’s right, in September 2018 Branswer officially launched into the world and we couldn’t be more excited! Our platform is now live and usable so check it out!

Finally, we would like to round up our year in review by extending our thanks and appreciation to everyone who has helped us get this far! From event attendees to friends who’ve imparted their wisdom and advice – thank you all.

Whilst 2018 has been an exciting, fun and progressive year for Branswer, our team is looking forward to continuing to grow our community and empower more people and business to tell their stories throughout 2019. And, we are also excited to launch the second phase of our platform so, keep your eyes peeled on our social media for updates.

Wishing you all of the best throughout 2019,
The Branswer Team 🦄
